The Integrated Energy Systems holding company is represented in each of the main energy sectors

•  Generation - today the main line of IES-Holding's power business is operational management of two territorial generating companies, TGC-5 and TGC-9, as well as management of strategic shareholdings in TGC-6 and TGC-7.
  Geographical reach:
   TGC-5: Republic of Mari El, Kirov Region, Chuvash and Udmurt Republics;
   TGC-6: Vladimir, Ivanovo, Nizhniy Novgorod, and Penza Regions, Republic of Mordovia;
   TGC-9: Perm Territory, Sverdlovsk Region, and Republic of Komi;
   TGC-7: Samara, Saratov, Orenburg, and Ulyanovsk Regions.
  The Aggregate installed capacity of the generating companies exceeds 15,000 MW for electric power and 67,800 Gcal/h for heat.
• Retail - retail sales of electricity, heat, and gas. At present, IES controls the following power sales companies: OJSC Sverdlovenergosbyt, OJSC Orenburgenergosbyt, and OJSC Kirovenergosbyt.
• Gas distribution - full range of services in gas supply and gas distribution. In 2005, IES united all its gas distribution assets as the single GAZEKS brand. The company has operations in seven regions of the Russian Federation and the four main industrial centers in Ukraine. The primary activity of GAZEKS is the provision of services for transporting natural gas to the end user. The companies are also involved in selling natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, and dry gas. The company's field of operation comprises the maintenance and construction of gas distribution systems and filling stations for gas-fired vehicles in regions. Under way is the development of service centers for re-equipping motor vehicles for gas operation and commercial filling of gas cylinders. The company serves over 4 million subscribers and 20,900 companies. The average annual volume of gas transport through GAZEKS gas distribution pipelines in Russia and beyond amounts to some 27.5 billion m³.
• Energy Solutions — energy consulting services. The company's clients are Russian industrial facilities which consume over 5 billion kWh of electricity per year.
• EnergoStroyEngineering — design and construction of power industry facilities, power lines, etc. The company is at the helm of a consortium of four power grid enterprises operating in the Russian Federation and abroad. In terms of the design and construction of high-voltage power lines and electrical substations, IES accounts for over 70% of the market in the Urals and Siberia and around 10% of the Russian market as a whole.
• Energotrading - the business unit involved in supplying energy resources to industrial facilities and households. It also renders maintenance services. At present, Energotrading is operating in Perm Territory, Sverdlovsk, Nizhniy Novgorod, and Kirov Regions, and Republics of Komi, Udmurtia, Chuvashia, and Mari El. The principal clients of the company are large to medium-sized companies in the oil, metals, and chemical industry. More than 1.9718 billion m3 of natural gas has been supplied to industrial users since 2005.
