Born in Serov town in the Sverdlovsk Region on February 14, 1962. Alexander graduated from the Urals Technical University named after S.M. Kirov in 1984, majoring in thermal power engineering.
In 1984-2002 he worked as an inspection engineer at OJSC Tumenenergo and then as Chief Engineer at Surgutskaya GRES-2 (State District Power Plant).
In 2002-2006 Mr. Faustov worked as Deputy Chief Engineer of OJSC Urals Power Management Company.
Alexander Faustov was General Director of OJSC TGC-10 in 2005. In 2005-2006 he held position of Deputy Director General for Regional Policy and member of the Management Board.
Alexander was a member of the Board of Directors of OJSC Tumenenergoremont in 2006.
In 2007 - 2008 he worked as Deputy Director General for Strategy Development and Investments of OJS TGC-10 and was a member of the Management Board.
Since September 2008 the position of Alexander Faustov within CJSC IES has been Senior Vice President - Technical Director of CJSC IES.
