Generation
IES-Holding (IES) is one of the largest private companies managing assets in the power industry. The company is presented in all segments of the power industry: generation, distribution and sales of electricity and heat, construction of power industry facilities, and maintenance services. IES is one of the most consistent and active supporters of the Russian power industry reform. The key objective of the holding company is to implement large-scale investment projects in the sector and form a major Russian power company. Today the main line of IES-Holding's energy business is operational management of two territorial generating companies, TGC-5 and TGC-9, as well as management of strategic shareholdings in TGC-6 and TGC-7. - TGC-5: Republic of Mari El, Kirov Region, Chuvash and Udmurt Republics;
- TGC-6: Vladimir, Ivanovo, Nizhniy Novgorod, and Penza Regions, Republic of Mordovia;
- TGC-7: Samara, Saratov, Orenburg, and Ulyanovsk Regions;
- TGC-9: Perm Territory, Sverdlovsk Region, and Republic of Komi.

The aggregate installed capacity of the generating companies exceeds 15,800 MW for electric power and 67,800 Gcal/h for heat. Grid Assets IES-Holding has set up an investment fund that unites the IES-controlled shareholdings in regional grid companies. To manage the Fund, a company has been established, its objective being to double the value of the grid assets within three years and to motivate other shareholders in grid companies to contribute their assets to the Fund.
