Russian and Karelian Governments Join Hands with RAO UES to Finance Construction of Diesel Power Plant on Valaam Island Worth RUR 110 Mln
The Russian Government, RAO UES of Russia and the Karelian Government will jointly finance construction of a diesel power plant on the island of Valaam worth RUR 110 mln. A corresponding agreement has been signed by the Government of the Republic of Karelia and RAO UES of Russia

TSA Supervisory Board Approves Amendments to Contract on Accession to Wholesale Power Market's Trading System
At its meeting earlier today, the Supervisory Board of the non-profit-making partnership Trading System Administrator (TSA) passed amendments to the contract on accession to the trading system of the wholesale power market and to the provision on the procedure of granting the status of a free trade sector player and keeping the register of wholesale power market players, the partnership's press service reports.
