The German power concern E.ON is looking at the possibility to transfer to Gazprom its shares in British gas power plants as part of an assets exchange transaction. "This option is part of negotiation, and we are thinking about it. However, no decision has been taken as yet," said Chairman of E.ON Management Board Wulf Bernotat in Wednesday's telephone conference, AP reports. Gazprom and E.ON signed an agreement in early July last year under which the German company will get 25% minus one share in the project for the development of the South Russian deposit in Russia, and Gazprom will receive 50% minus one share in Hungarian companies E.ON Foldgaz Storage and E.ON Foldgaz Trade, as well as 25% minus one share in the holding company E.ON Hungaria. |
