The production of primary fuel and energy resources in January-July 2007 increased by 1.7% over the same period of 2006 and totaled 1.042 bln tons of fuel, says the report of the Ministry of Industry and Energy. In January-July oil production increased by 2.9%, power production by hydroelectric power plants - by 12.7%, by nuclear power plants - by 2.7%. The production of gas decreased by 0.3%, coal - by 0.1% Average daily oil production in July grew by 3,000 tons per day as compared to the previous month and reached 1,349,300 tons per day. During 7 months of 2007 the volume of oil export to non-CIS countries and the Baltic states (including shipments from oil refinery terminals) reached 129.86 mln tons, showing an increase of 5.6% over last year. Export of oil to the CIS countries reduced by 1.7% to the level of 21.28 mln tons. |
