Far Eastern Power Companies to Merge by Summer 2006
The establishment of the Far Eastern Power Company (FEPC), Far Eastern Generating Company (FEGC), and Far Eastern Distributing Grid Company (FEDGC) as part of the power system reform in the Far East is expected to be over in mid-2006, Victor Miasnik, Director General of the OJSC Far Eastern Power Management Company (FEPMC), said at a press conference.

RAO UES Committee Approves Share Conversion Ratios for WGC-1, WGC-4
The RAO UES of Russia Strategy and Reform Committee has approved reorganisation of Wholesale Generating Company No 1 (WGC-1) and WGC-4 by incorporating the state district power plants (GRES) which are part of them. It has also supported the proposed ratios to convert shares of the power plants into shares of the generating companies.

WGC-5 BD to Issue 4.1 G Rubles of Shares for Transition to a Singe Share
The Board of directors of OJSC WGC-5 decided to issue extra 4105388300 shares with a face value of one ruble in order to convert shares of the related plants into WGC-5 shares. As the generation company informs. Into one share of the WGC will be converted 0.01449 common shares of OJSC Nevinnomisskaya GRES or 0.05263 common shares of OJSC Konakovskaya GRES.

Power Sector IPO Issue May Be Resolved by March - UES
