To our investors

The Integrated Energy Systems holding company views Russia's energy sector as an area of its strategic interests.

To implement even larger-scale investment programs, the holding company would like to cooperate with strategic partners.

By 2008, IES intends to complete the consolidation of its energy assets and become one of the largest energy companies in Russia. The completion of the power industry reform and the liberalisation of the power market in Russia are key to creating an efficient business model and implementing the holding company's investment policy.

Investment Strategy

The goal of the IES investment strategy is to ensure sustainable development and high profit margins for the company. The implementation of the strategy will result in the long-term growth of the company's business value.

Key implementation areas:

  • Ensure higher-than-industry-average growth rates of operating and financial performance for all assets of the holding company;
  • Optimise the structure and quality of energy assets by selective acquisition in regions within geographical reach;
  • Improve rates of return on investments by investing in the most efficient sectors of the energy industry;
  • Participate as an investor in major interregional and international energy projects (storage and sales of gas in the home market; creation of infrastructure for electricity supplies from Siberia to China, etc.);
  • Invest in the development and deployment of new technologies;
  • Improve corporate governance standards and business transparency.
