Urals Gas Networks Obtain Certificate Confirming High Efficiency of Gas Distribution Operations

Chelyabinskgorgaz to Invest in Utility Infrastructure in Chelyabinsk Region
Valery Shopov, Minister of Construction, Infrastructure and Roads of the Chelyabinsk Region, and Andrei Lekanov, managing director of OJSC Chelyabinskgorgaz, a subsidiary of the gas holding company GAZEKS (part of CJSC Integrated Energy Systems or IES), signed a cooperation agreement on 22 December to obtain investment to develop the utility infrastructure in the region.

Integrated Power Sales Company Joins Public Utilities Union of Sverdlovsk Region
On the eve of Electrical Engineer's Day, the Yekaterinburg branch of Integrated Power Sales Company LLC became a member of the Public Utilities Union of the Sverdlovsk Region. Membership of the union will provide an additional opportunity to participate in protecting the interests of public utilities workers and to take a more active position on the achievement of industry objectives.

GAZEKS Starts Boiler House in Novosibirsk
OJSC Sibirgazservis, part of the gas holding company GAZEKS (a subsidiary of CJSC Integrated Energy Systems) launched a gas-fired boiler house with a capacity of 15.6 MW in the Pashino community in Novosibirsk on 21 December. The boiler house will provide heat for more than 2,000 community residents and it will also heat a kindergarten, a swimming pool, and a military unit.

IES-Holding Presents Hermitage with Exclusive Propagandistic Porcelain
A propagandistic porcelain set owned by the Russian company Integrated Energy Systems (IES-Holding) was formally presented to the State Hermitage (St Petersburg) which hosted the presentation ceremony on 9 December, 2006. Mikhail Matytsin, IES Vice President for Strategic Communications, handed the set for 12 persons to Hermitage Director Mikhail Piotrovskii.

RCUS Builds 7 Gas-fired Packaged Boiler Houses with Aggregate Capacity of Approximately 20 MW in 2006
This year, within the framework of investment projects regional subsidiaries of OJSC Russian Communal Utility Systems have constructed seven modern gas-fired boiler houses with an aggregate capacity of some 20 MW (19.36 MW). The boiler houses have been built to decommission old boiler houses in the housing sector which were badly deteriorated, inefficient and failed to satisfy consumers' heating needs.
