Today, "ASTRA Outsourcing Forum. Version 2.009" was held at the conference hall of Hotel Holiday Inn Sokolniki. The forum was organized by the Association of Strategic Outsourcing of Russia (NP ASTRA). The participants of the event highlighted important issues of outsourcing, current trends in this market in Russia and worldwide, and shared practical achievements in the field of outsourcing. OJSC Strategic Business Systems acted as a partner of the event. Andrey Sinichkin, General Director of the company, made a report entitled "ITIL as Instrument for Efficient IT-outsourcing". In his report, he shared with the participants of the event the company's experience of implementing and automating IT services management processes on the basis of the ITIL recommendations. Andrey Sinichkin said that implementation of the service-oriented model of service provision and the process approach allowed improving the efficiency of the IT infrastructure use and significantly elevating the quality of IT services, enabling the Clients to achieve the desired results. The IT services management processes of OJSC Strategic Business Systems were automated with the help of the incident management system based on the Omni Tracker software platform, which, according to Andrey Sinichkin, met the Business requirements to the fullest extent. After the system installation the average time of user application execution reduced nearly by half. Moreover, the implemented automated system gave the opportunity to systematize information, form a knowledge base of incidents and ways of dealing with them, thus significantly improving the efficiency of a service IT company manufacturing processes. The implementation of Omni Tracker gave the Client the opportunity to monitor the execution of SLA (Service Level Agreement) by the outsourcer and promptly get the required accounting information.
