In order to ensure reliable and continuous energy supply to all consumers, all the IES divisions will switch to a special operation mode during the period from December 31, 2009 through January 10, 2010. The corresponding order was signed by Mikhail Slobodin, President of IES-Holding. During this period, the divisions of the Generation adopt additional measures aimed at control of operation of all the technological equipment, repair works, fire safety, and organize watch service of emergency maintenance units. By the morning of January 11, 2010 the generating facilities must be ready to deliver the maximum power output. The gas distribution organizations and power distribution companies of the Retail Division are also switching to a special working mode. For this period, personnel on duty will be delegated at all the levels of management and production to enable continuous monitoring of the situation at the energy-producing facilities and reporting to the IES man on duty. |
