During 12 months in 2009, 52 students had their work and pre-graduation practice at CHPPs of IES Holding’s Generation Urals Division in Chuvashia.
15.01.2010 IES’s Power Plants: 2,500,000,000 kWh of Electric Energy and 6,260,000,000 GCal of Heat Produced during this Holiday Season
In the first ten days of the new year IES-Holding power plants produced 2.5 billion kWh of electric energy and 6,26 million GCal of heat compared to 2009, the growth was 3,8% and 6,4% respectively.
15.01.2010 Ivanovo Energy University Students Started Pre-graduation Practice at IES’s Ivanovo Branch of IES Holding’s Generation Center Division
25 senior students test their knowledge and acquire necessary skills in different spheres: company economy and management, business management, technological-process and production automation, protective relay and electric system automation, etc. The heads of the enterprise corresponding departments and shops are appointed supervisors of the student groups.
14.01.2010 IES Holding Commissions New 12 MW Turbine Unit at Samara State Regional Power Plant
IES Holding commissioned a new turbine unit with a capacity of 12 MW Samara GRES (Generation Volga Division). The regional government and IES Holding management representatives attended its inauguration on January, 14.
12.01.2010 Heat Power Plants of IES-Holding’s Generation Urals Division Ensures Reliable Energy Supply to Consumers During New Year Holidays
Heat power plants of OJSC TGC-6 (controlled by the Generation Center Division of IES-Holding) have ensured reliable, uninterrupted heat and electricity supply to all of the company’s areas of responsibility during New Year holidays, from December 31, 2009 to January 10, 2010. Generating facilities of OJSC TGC-6 resumed normal operation on January 11.
11.01.2010 IES’s Volga TGC Power Plants: 1,000,000,000 kWh Produced during this Holiday Season
In the first 10 days of 2010, all power facilities of Volga TGC (Volga Generation Division of IES Holding) in Samara, Saratov, Ulyanovsk and Orenburg regions operated under normal conditions. Heat and electric energy supply to the consumers was effected in strict compliance with the contracts. No emergencies that could have an impact on energy supply were allowed.
30.12.2009 IES Holding Allocates RUR 2,5 Million to Employees Training in Chuvashia and Mari El in 2009
During 12 months in 2009, 545 employees of the Mari El and Chuvashia branch of IES Holding’s Generation Urals Division, including 407 blue collar workers, 39 white collar employees and 99 managers, took training, retraining and advanced training. 517 of them are employees of IES Holding in Chuvashia.
28.12.2009 IES-Holding Divisions to Work in Special Mode During New Year Holidays
In order to ensure reliable and continuous energy supply to all consumers, all the IES divisions will switch to a special operation mode during the period from December 31, 2009 through January 10, 2010. The corresponding order was signed by Mikhail Slobodin, President of IES-Holding.
25.12.2009 National Corporation EnergoStroyEngineering Tallies Up Its Business in 2009
At the end of December NC EnergoStroyEngineering tallied up its Russian business in 2009. Over the reporting period the companies of the Group constructed 347.4 km of power lines in the Volga, Ural and Siberia Federal Districts. The total transformer load of new substations was equal to 772 MW. This included the 80 km of power lines and substations with capacity of 50 MVA commissioned by NoyabrElektroSetStroy, 114 km and 697 MVA commissioned by ZapSibelElektroSetStroy, 41.68 km and 25 MVA commissioned by VostokSibelEktroSetStroy and 111.7 km commissioned by SibElektroSetStroy. Besides, in 2009 SibElektroSetStroy constructed 29.4 km of cable lines.
25.12.2009 IES-Holding Commissions a 60 MW Turbine Generator at Kirov CHPP-3
Kirov CHPP-3, which is a part of to IES-Holding’s ‘Generation Urals’ division has completed reconstruction of 60 MW turbine generator No.6. The commissioning took place on the December 24.
The investment project included installation of the new generator manufactured by NPO ELSIB (Novosibirsk), reconstruction of the base of the turbine unit, electro-technical and auxiliary equipment. The cost of works and the new equipment amounted to RUR 180 million.
