13.09.2010 IES-Holding’s Generating Companies Prepare For Autumn And Winter 2010-2011 On Schedule
The autumn and winter 2010 preparations of the IES-Holding’s generating companies are carried out on schedule. By September 1, the capital and average repairs of turbine generators with a total capacity of 1,868 MW, the boiler of 11,257 tons of steam per hour, had been made; more than 100 km of heating grids had been reconstructed.
02.09.2010 TGC-6 Posts Bonds for 5 Billion Rubles at 8.3% Annual Interest
The IES-Holding's generating company - OJSC TGC-6 has posted a bond for 5 billion Russian rubles with a coupon rate of 8.3% per annum. Bond yields will be 8.47% per annum for a three-year offer.
The funds received will be mainly used to finance the investment program on building new generating capacities in the regions where TGC-6 operates.

On August 23, 2010, Valery Talichkin was appointed General Director of CJSC National Corporation EnergoStroyEngineering (CJSC NC ESI). Previously, he served as Deputy General Director of the Kolenergo Branch of the North-West Inter-Regional High-Voltage Grid Company (IHVGC).
23.08.2010 IES Starts Heating Vorkuta Earlier than Ever
IES-Holding’s power supply companies start the heating season of years 2010-2011 among the first in the country with the city of Vorkuta. In accordance with the municipal administration of the Urban District of Vorkuta, the Vorkuta CHPPs and heating grids started to supply heat to the city and urban-type settlements’ residential properties and business facilities on August 23.
20.08.2010 EnergoStroyEngineering Completes Construction of Communication and Control Systems for ESPO Pipeline’s Phase 1
On July 25, 2010, the National Corporation EnergoStroyEngineering (CJSC NC ESI) completed the construction of radio relay stations (RS) and control and monitoring stations (CMS) (673 km - 789 km) for the purposes of Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean Pipeline System’s Phase 1, a project implemented by OJSC Transneft.

The IES-Holding's generating company OJSC TGC-9 has posted a bond for 7 billion Russian rubles with a coupon rate of 8.10% per annum. Bond yields will be 8.26% per annum for a three-year offer.
09.08.2010 IES Power Supply Company Enters into First Contracts on Energy Servicing
IES-Holding’s power supply companies have started offering customers energy service contracts. The first contracts in August were signed by OJSC Kirovenergosbyt with budgetary organizations of the Kirov region. This year, the IES-Holding’s companies will offer this opportunity to its customers in the Sverdlovsk and Orenburg Region, the Republics of Udmurtia and Komi.

IES-Holding and UES FGC have signed the Agreement on cooperation and coordination of the joint development of electric power industry. The document has been signed by the Chairman of the UES FGC Board, Oleg Budargin, and the IES General Director, Eugene Olkhovik.

26.07.2010 IES Representatives Held Talks With The Delegation Of The Chinese Energy Corporation Guodian
IES-Holding’s representatives held talks with the delegation of the Chinese energy corporation Guodian, one of the largest electric power producers in the PRC. The negotiations involved the IES Senior Vice-president – Chief Operation Officer, Andrey Vagner, and technicians of the Holding. The Chinese delegation was headed by the Guodian Corporation Deputy General Director, Qiao Baoping.
