Roundtable Discussion by IES Holding President on “Count, Save and Pay” Project within the Framework of All-Russian Conference on Energy Efficiency

IES Holding President Mikhail Slobodin held a roundtable discussion on the “Count, Save and Pay” project within the framework of the All-Russian conference “Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving in Regions, Municipalities, and Public Sector”. The conference held on April 21 in Moscow was organized by the Russian Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Economic Development, and the Russian Energy Agency.

IES-Holding Completes Garnet Investment Project for Modernizing Perm CHPP-13

In March 2010, a new gas-turbine unit GTPP-16PA was put in commercial operation at Perm CHPP-13 (part of IES Holding’s Generation Urals Division). Due to the launch of the new gas turbine unit, Perm CHPP-13 has significantly increased its efficiency in the wholesale electric power and capacity market. During the first 250 hours of operation the gas turbine unit generated over 3.8 million kWh of electricity and 4,741 Gcal of heat.

IES-Holding’s power plants increased heat and electric power generation in Q1 2010

In the first quarter of 2010 IES-Holding’s power plants generated 21.27 billion kWh of electric power and 51.3 million Gcal, which is 0.96% and 8.6% higher than in 2009 respectively.

A new position of CEO of CJSC IES to be occupied by Evgeny Olkhovik

The shareholders of CJSC IES decided to introduce changes in the company’s organizational structure and to create a position of CEO. This step was determined by significant extension of the scope of tasks of CJSC IES corporate centre relating to development of business activities and transfer to a single share.

The Government of the Komi Republic and IES-Holding agreed on realization of high-priority measures within the framework of the joint project “Vorkuta – energy efficient city”

Mikhail Slobodin, President of IES-Holding, and Vyacheslav Gaizer, Governor of the Komi Republic, have agreed on realization of high-priority measures within the framework of the joint project “Vorkuta – Energy Efficient City”. Presentation of the results of the first stage of the project – complex examination of energy and public utilities infrastructure performed by GiproKommunEnergo – took place on April 14 in the city administration hall.

The awarding ceremony took place on April 8 in Moscow in the context of the Ninth International Academic Conference sponsored by the State University – Higher School of Economics (HSE).

IES Holding to Hold Energetic Collaboration Contest Jointly with Giprokommunenergo in 2010

IES announces the Energetic Collaboration Contest to be held in 16 regions of the company’s presence for two years in a row. Its objective is to identify and encourage the most energy efficient heat and power consumers. IES-Holding, being one of the largest power and heat producers in Russia wants to make sure that the power it produces would be efficiently consumed, correctly metered and timely paid for.

OJSC Zapsibelektrosetstroy Completed Construction 35 kV HV Line, Tie-In Line 35/6 kV Pad-72 Substation - 35/6 kV Pad-72 Substation with Long Span over the Irtysh in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District

In March 2010, OJSC Zapsibelektrosetstroy (a member of CJSC OC ESI Group) completed implementation of the project of construction of a 35 kV HV line, tie-in point 35/6 kV “Pad-72” Substation - 35/6 kV Pad-72 Substation with a long span over the river of Irtysh in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District. In early April 2010, the line was energized.

Schoolchildren from Tomsk and Cheboksary won Super Finals of IES-BASKET School basketball league Championship 200910

On April 3, Uralochka competitive sports center of Ekaterinburg hosted the Super Finals match and the awarding ceremony of Inter-regional Championship of IES-BASKET School basketball league. The players received their prizes from Grigory Rapota, President’s Plenipotentiary Representative in the Volga Federal District, Alexander Misharin, governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Marina Tomilova, Head of the State Policy Department for Sports, Tourism and Youth policy, Lyubov Glebova, Head of the Federal Education and Science Supervision Agency, Mikhail Slobodin, President of CJSC IES and President of IES-BASKET School basketball league, Alexander Zarubin, a member of IES-BASKET School basketball league guardians board and famous Russian athletes.
